Asian Journal of Urology editorial board meeting

      The 2nd editorial board meeting of Asian Journal of Urology was held in Shanghai, China, on July 29, 2016. The journal’s editorial board members from the US, Germany, England, Belgium, Finland, and China, and the editorial office staff, 35 people in total, attended the meeting.

      The meeting was presided over by Prof. Shancheng Ren, the assistant editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology. Firstly, Prof. Yinghao Sun, the editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology, gave his warm welcome speech. Then the editorial members listened to the work report made by Dr. Alex Yu, the managing editor of the journal.

Mr. David Wang from Thomson Reuters IP&S, introduced the Emerging Sources Citation Index

Dr. Allen Chiu, the associate editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology, shared his experience on 

how to organize special issue of Asian Journal of Urology

     In the discussion session, the board members gave suggestions in respects of the journal’s 

reviewing process, contribution solicitations, citation, marketing, and so on

     The 2nd editorial board meeting summarized the work in the previous 2 years and promoted the work of next year. With the great supports of SAST and SMMU, the guidance of the editorial board, and the common efforts of the editorial office, Asian Journal of Urology would strive forward and seek high ranking among the world famous urological journals.
