Asian Journal of Urology editorial board meeting

    The 3rd editorial board meeting of Asian Journal of Urology was held in Shanghai, China, on Aug. 12, 2017. The journal’s editorial board members from the US, Germany, England, Belgium, France, Finland, Sweden, and China, youth committee of the editorial board members, and the editorial office staff, more than 40 people in total, attended the meeting.

    The meeting was presided over by Prof. Shancheng Ren, the assistant editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology. Firstly, Prof. Yinghao Sun, the editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology, gave his warm welcome speech. Then the editorial members listened to the work report made by Dr. Alex Yu, the managing editor of the journal.

Prof. Leland W. K. Chung, honorary editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology, gave us a report named “The engagement of editorial board of Asian Journal of Urology: summary & perspective”

Dr. Allen Chiu, the associate editor-in-chief of Asian Journal of Urology, gave us a report 

titled “How to promote Asian Journal of Urology?”

Dr. Hendrik Van Popel, the editorial advisors of Asian Journal of Urology, 

gave us some suggestions on promotion

In the discussion session, the board members gave suggestions in respects of the journal’s 

reviewing process, contribution solicitations, citation, marketing, and so on.
