The First Editorial Board Meeting of Asian Journal of Urology was held on Oct. 25, 2014

It is so exciting that The First Editorial Board Meeting of Asian Journal of Urology has been successfully held during the 21th Chinese Urological Association (CUA) annual meeting on Oct. 25, 2014 in Jinan, Shandong, China.

     “We will do our best to operate the brand new Journal in the upcoming years, and sincerely hope that increasing urologist colleagues around Asia and the world could assist and support the journal.” Prof. Yinghao Sun, Editor-in-Chief of AJU, said at the meeting. Two other Editors-in-Chief of Asian Journal of Urology, Prof. Leland W. K. Chung and Prof. Michael J. Droller, and part of absent oversea editorial members sent their blessing and confidence to AJU by video. Moreover, the editorial board members and guests at present made a positive and ardent discussion about how to promote AJU efficiently and effectively.

     This landmark event opened a new chapter of the Urology in Asia and laid the foundation for achieving sustainable and healthy development in the future. Meanwhile, it will take concerted effort, support and insistence from all of the editors to build AJU into a world class journal of urology.
